Not a snob, but I will surely try it. Have paid more than that many times.......guess I'm a bourbonholic

I like a good bourbon and am prejudiced toward products from the Buffalo Trace distillery. I have tasted lots of bourbons and for the life of me I cannot come up with the descriptive nuances that these bourbon tasters use. Either it's smooth or not and either I like it or not.

And that's just it - all that matters is if you like........

something or not. Cost, other people's opinions, etc. don't guarantee anything.

I'm with you. I'm kinda a snob about Buffalo Trace products too.

It's getting harder to find other products I want to spend the money on as I've built a nice collection for now.

I will share some of my favorites outside Buffalo Trace:

Smoke Wagon Uncut & Unfiltered
Savage & Cooke - Burning Chair
Makers Mark 46
Blade & Bow
John Bowman (though, technically, they get their juice form Buffalo Trace)
1792 (though, also owned by Sazaerac, I wonder if they get their juice from Buffalo Trace).

Old Taylor distillery…

I have a bottle of Old Taylor from the 1940’s sitting in my bar. Take it out for special occasions and still have about half the bottle left.

#### smooth and 80-ish years old.

I know absolutely less than nothing about bourbon, but I

don't think I would want one with noses in it, like that blurb talks about.
