Here In LVille

Oct 18, 2019, 4:23 PM

Seeing alot of Tigers here in Louisville! Loving it! Any must sees, do's, eats, or drinks in the Ville? Already been to Churchill Downs and Slugger Factory.
Also any pregame or tailgate areas we would be welcome at?

Thanks in advance Family!
Go Tigers!

Churchill Downs was really neat to see 13 bucks for a tour well worth it to see all the equestrian history!

drive up to Williamstown, KY and check-out the Ark Encounter.

The Jim Beam distillery in Clermont, KY is also well worth the time.

Just had a great dinner with my wife, sister and bro in law at "The Fat Lamb." The head chef, Dallas McGarrity, had SC connections (from O'burg and had worked in Greenville) and apparently recognized our Clemson clothing and our waiter said he noticed us and was a Clemson fan. Okay, so we got a couple of appetizers and the waiter came back and said the would probably stop by and greet us, and he did. He won an episode of "Chopped" and a $10,000 prize from it. We came back to the B&B and watched it on Netflix (had the chefs doing bizarre chicken dishes, like chicken and rice for dessert). He explained he was running two other restaurants, one apparently a seafood place in Indiana on the Ohio. Fat Lamb is on Grinstead Drive a few blocks from I-64. Lamb is a specialty but we had great shrimp and grits and a pork chop. We lucked out with a table but try getting a reservation.

Buffalo Trace in Frankfort and Woodford Reserve in the other side of interstate 64 off of the same exit. I think it’s exit 53
