Here in Columbia...

Dec 20, 2018, 1:55 PM

On 107.5 The Game the announcers were talking about Dabo’s Rolls Royce comment saying it was clearly “hubris” to make such a statement. They went on to say he is signaling that he is getting “lazy” in recruiting and it could mark the decline of our recruiting fortunes. Can you believe that? The truth hurts I guess. Let them ponder that while relishing in their #22 signing class. Really, they are a sad, pathetic and worthless group.

Easy to be jealous of a Rolls Royce when you drive around in a 1987 Yugo!

Not jealousy, those clowns honestly don’t understand the statement. They read it as lazy, not that he means our brand is so strong he wants kids that are willing to sacrifice to be here. The statement centered around the early official visit period. Dabo’s point was any recruit in the county would come on official visit to Clemson and he isn’t willing to put the resource strain on the coaching staff at the spring time. If a recruit is willing to sacrifice to come here on an unofficial, then Clemson is willing to invest time to hear them out. Why Ngata the 5 star from Cali came to Clemson 3x on his own from Cali but wasn’t willing to drive the extra 2 hours south. Difference between and Rolls and a Pinto.
