The 5 dudes on Inside College Football on CBS didn't mention Clemson as being a top 6 team. They had Michigan and Tennessee there,, and even acknowledged they haven't played anyone yet.

Exactly. When we yearned for Paul’s love but he did not give - we would turn to Herbie for his gentle and subtle caress.
But alas, Herbie has found others and so we too seek another. I’ve seen TNetters recently offer hope that there is another well known national commentator that has a rose for us - but to this date that individual has not been revealed.
And so we wait - yearning for that bond and searching Twitter for those few powerful words ..”I have Clemson #1 in my top 5”.

Herbstreit, being the father of a current Clemson player and one ex-player, certainly knows exactly what is done after each game (meeting at the paw) and calls it weird. Now, he's cool toward the team. His entire attitude has changed. Something is off. For the first time ever, I felt better about Fowler than him in the last Clemson game they announced.

His comment about the fans rushing the field was sarcasm and likely poking fun at the media that makes fun of Clemson when they beat low level teams and still does it. He knows it happens every home game.
People get so upset that everyone doesn’t have Clemson on the mountaintop. At the end of the day if Clemson takes care of business for the rest of the year they are in the playoff. I wouldn’t worry too much about Herbie’s week 6 top 6.

We don't have a top notch qb...anything that the sports media can use against Ccc they will use...Jawja can such but they are still fine...laundry detergent school can look awful but are still bama...clemson can make the whole national sports media look like fools multiple times and we can be left out because they can do so! I am worried about USC. They could run the table out there and really challenge us for the fourth spot - even if we win out.
Michigan is as good as I have seen them in a while, but they will eventually self-destruct against some BIG competition.

I'm fine if we fly under the radar with low expectations from the media. Nothing matters until December anyway so let them say whatever they want. Hype all the other teams and let them carry that pressure as favorites. If we keep doing what we are doing we will be just fine and everything else will take care of itself.
