It's great to be back.
First I want to wish Bresee and Shipley a speedy recovery. I was pulling for the Tigers on Saturday.
Now about the game, I just don't see how a women's lacrosse school can beat Clemson in football.

Like many of you I was shocked at the line. It made me want to make a wager until I remembered that my history of betting on BC is filled with heartache.

I'm really surprised that CDS hasn't used this. In the last couple of years BC has lost more than a dozen players via transfer which isn't unusual after a coaching change but the portal has been really important for us. Do you think CDS will come around?

No but they should. I'm happy Anthony Brown is having such a good year. He made the right decision because Addazio wasn't good at developing QB's.

Good joke to start this season’s conversation. I doubt you will find as much banter this week as usual because a good many of us are having doubts about our football team that we haven’t felt for a decade or more.
But congrats congrats on the early success and I hope this weekend is the only blemish on your record this season.

Thanks. If that were to happen I'd take it in a heartbeat. I'm a little surprised at the amount of negativity I've been reading here. Saturday was hard to swallow for sure but I think Dabo will turn it around (just not this weekend if you don't mind).

1st down: Inside zone read run, good for 1-2 yards.
2nd down: WR screen or throw to the flat for no gain.
3rd down: Outside post route to the WR incomplete or overthrown.
Punt.
We will repeat this about 8-9 times in a row and Dabo will say "we were one play away from winning" and Tony Elliott will blame the players for not executing.
You will run about 90+ plays, we will run about 45 if we're lucky. You win.

Usually we are but for the past 4 years the best team on campus has been women's lacrosse. They finally won the natty last year after losing in the championship game the 3 years before that.
