One of the deep pocket boosters at Texas, has formed a “non-profit” that purpose is to give 16 Offensive linemen per year 50K each under the NIL process.
It is really becoming the wild Wild West. A sports drink manufacturer and BYU booster is paying for all walk on’ s school , room, and board . A scholarship equivalent.
This stuff is crazy.

UNC is sharing jersey and merch profit with players. That has got to be big money a year for those players. They are also allowed to use UNC branding in NIL. Two things Clemson isn't doing.
Other schools doing this are Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, UGA, etc. Clemson needs to get on this asap.
IPTAY, or something similar, needs to be reworked/created to pay NIL. This is the only way to stay relevant going forward under NIL.

The legislature passed the NIL bill and it was signed into law. It creates those “guardrails” and prohibits using state university branding by students. Clemson and USC need get the law changed.
