I think he will be gone and I don't think he will be fired. I suspect there is an agreement with the AD that he had this season to prove himself worthy of a few more years. Unless the miraculous happens that won't be the case. I think at that point he is allowed to retire with the dignity he deserves.

I agree he has failed the last 4 years to do anything. Before that at least we won Regionals but now nothing. This season we won't even make the ACC tourney. It's a situation that will not correct itself.

In the corporate world he would have already been fired. CEO's wouldn't put up with someone doing a less than 50% job. I have fired workers for a lot less. Never put up with mediocrity and I think he is less than that.

After his boss told him to go around and meet with other coaches, and he refused, to see the season go in the tank like this? He won't have a choice. Step down gracefully, or you gotta go.

Jack will be ask to retire and step down, and if he doesn't, he will get embarrassed by being fired. He has had every chance to do something and he chose to do nothing but say that nothing was wrong when it was completely broken. When a coach can't see when its broke, they have lost their way!!!

I think that this is the only thread where I gave about every body a TU bc I see that most was right on with their opinions. The only person who thinks that Jack should stay is Jack himself. Enough is enough and Jack was given better than a fair chance to do something anything, and he chose to do absolutely nothing but flipped everyone off that believed he was done!!!

Makes me rhink of Bobby Bowden and how his tenure ended. I like Jack, but it is time to move on. We need to breathe new life into the bb program. I think he retire (forced) and he leaves still loved by most Tigers. If we let him coach another year it might get ugly.
