don't buy the lie that he was surprised or this was unexpected. Dabo is known to be honest up front with young men, so there's likely no doubt that KB knew this was a possibility from the time TL committed to Clemson.
Kudos to KB for working so hard to keep the job this long. He's disappointed, b/c as a competitor, you don't think anyone can beat you... until it happens.
To take it a step further, KB should be proud of how he played when you consider the numbers TL had to put up in order to win the job.

He's a first class guy, he gave his all. He's got nothing to hang his head about. I hope he gets over this setback and has an awesome future whether it's in football or not.

Yes, KB is much loved by the Tiger Family and we still need him! I can't imagine the pressure on him having to follow the greatest QB in Clemson history in Deshaun. He's a great team leader and that will continue.

All excellent replies and on target but I hope we don’t lose kb. We’ll need him at some point, maybe this game, maybe next week but I hate to see spun like we’ve lost him.
Personally, I hope we get to see him 3rd or 4th series this week.

ex-Tiger currently in the pros, and who received his training and exposure from the Clemson Program, and specifically from Dabo and his staff. One would think someone who has elevated their career to that level understands the ups and downs of competition. Some of what's out is pretty #### surprising, IMHO.
