What position will he play?

Not to knock him but he won't even scratch the depth chart on our scout team as a QB. WR? Nah, I can't see that as we to deep. TE? Nope. DB? Not a chance.
So where do we put him? Can he hold a clipboard like a boss?

I wouldn't count him out at wide receiver... Adam Humphries is arguably our second best one, and he was only a 3 star at best... You never know what can happen

one of his dreams to be a Tiger. He'll get to play even if it's late in a game after it's been decided. I believe he's interested in Engineering.

He comes from a clemson family and is a really bright kid, he'll work hard to play and he'll work just as hard in the classroom.

ya know...sometimes stuff just hits me wrong maybe. But I think your post is that of a "jackarse". If the staff wants this guy on the team, then I am super happy that he is here! Those of you that think only the guys that make up the starting 22 are part of every win and every loss probably never played for a varsity team intheir life.
My apologies if I am overacting...but I think that you owe everybody that ever suited up at Clemson an apology.

he'll contribute immediately on special teams like Rodriguez and Jeff Scott. He's a decent enough athlete to get a scholarship offer from a moving to FBS Appalachian State and he was a Shrine Bowl player so it's not like he doesn't have some talent.
Watching his highlight videos on Youtube I could see him helping the team in a number of ways...WR, RB, DBare all places I could see him contributing if the need arises. If nothing else for the next 5 years I know who the scout team QB is going to be for GT week as he looks to be one heck of an option QB.

More than likely he will be a scout team WR for awhile. He'll have to put on atleast 10-15 lbs. He played DB too in HS so he can catch the ball. If the kid can ball and show he deserves to be here then he'll get his chance! Glad he chose to be Clemson Tiger regardless.

I think I may have come across the wrong way. I only intended to insinuate that he won't be playing as our QB next year, inferring that he'll be holding a clipboard. And it's been omitted but I'll say it again: I agree that ya never know. But I really was asking what position is he going to play. I think its being taken as me disagreeing with the decision to take him. Not the case. If that's how you take then I'm sorry but that's not how I meant it. You as well as I read the articles enough to know he's a Clemson family guy. Clemson and family go hand in in. Sorry if I sounded like a knucklehead but I welcome one our own. And I get why you're upset because I asked what position hes gonna play. It appears as if it was taken as "ugh why take a two/three star guy, fire Dabo yada yada." That's not how I meant it. However, since this many people think it was wrong, I apologize. Again, in no way was I implying he doesn't belong on our team.

All that I know about the kid is that he comes from a long line of athletes. His family is full of SC Player of the Years. One of his uncles won POTY in Football and Baseball. They are truly a great SC family that emphasize God and love Clemson. I know he will work hard and make Clemson proud.
