4 TCU players enter portal

Opening day of spring portal and 2 of the 4 players are offensive. Blair Conwright is a WR, and Altrique Barlow is an OL.
Don’t know if we’ll really go for them, but given Riley could draw them over or at least one, they could be a nice addition and at least some depth.
Other big name uncommitted transfers so far are Tar’Varish Dawson WR Auburn, and Bear Alexander DL Georgia.

We have a WR room that has been extremely weak for years and even if there was a proven WR out there to help us we couldn't take him.
I am tired of this weak-ass argument.

My take on the situation. I believe that Dabo was stunned when the defensive players returned for this season. I honestly feel that Dabo was looking at the portal player from Charlotte but did not have a scholarship for him.

who will never play because we need "numbers" at a certain position.
We have been missing a lot on top recruits and truth be told is the real source of the problem. Both WR and RB recruiting has been anemic.

YES!! Agreed!! and the awarding of schollies to midgets who work hard just because we have numbers available at the time. Very short sighted approach. Now you have a field full of little people running around all over the place and no real WR's that will even sniff an NFL camp. I feel sorry for Cade trying to hit these little targets. Totally unfair to him. It looks like watching Newberry College practice, where all the little, slow guys go to play. Somebody PLEASE tell me Dabo doesn't have any more sons coming along.....PLEASE.

You know I didn’t post about 4 random players in the portal. I specifically pointed out guys from TCU, and even Auburn and UGA. I said one of the benefits to picking up one or a couple would be for depth, but it really wouldn’t be. You can’t immediately fix depth with 2 players. I know that.
They’re also P5 talent who were on a National Championship team. Who says they’d just be “numbers”? Who says they couldn’t come in and make an impact at the start? With the way our receivers have been.
I’m not talking about some cupcake players who’d never play. Why would you think a receiver from TCU wouldn’t see playing time?
Not much sense.

I forgot to add that I believe that we are at 87 scholarship players and need to shed two before the other freshmen arrive on campus. If we lose more than two, then we are in business to pick up a receiver.

I guess explaining that would be more difficult than typing LOL or calling someone a coot.
If you're going to be a dedicated pumper (which is fine) then why not take the time to explain why you disagree with someone who doesn't have 100% nice things to say 100% of the time? Heck, you might even find some common ground.
But, alas, that seems to be a waste of time for you. You'd rather just come across as an aggressive jerk and I guess that's who you are. For a sunshine pumper, you must be one miserable c*nt. Maybe they best place for your to pump the shine is inward.

I have no arguments with Dabo about anything. The only comment I will make is, whether his boys or BV's boys had athletic talent or not, both dads could certainly have footed the bill for their college education, and not used up a scholarship spot on them. It wouldn't have even been a drain on their multiimillion dollar pocketbooks.
