Some of these have to be COVID positives

and I am guessing COVID positives among vaccinated players.
Heck of a job, Jim Clements! You and your lawyers really had to go above and beyond the ACC testing requirements.
Good thing we're not in contention this year, because I absolutely believe this would have cost us the MNC.

Clemson is in line with the ACC testing requirements

Back in early September it was reported that Clemson football is following the ACC testing requirements even though other students are tested weekly under the University policy.
September 9 report:
"While the majority of Clemson’s football players have been vaccinated, those who haven’t are being tested three times per week. Meanwhile, those who have been fully vaccinated are not being subjected to regular surveillance testing, the Tigers’ coach said.
Those protocols fall in line with what the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Medical Advisory Group (MAG) has recommended for many of the league’s fall sports teams that have at least an 85% vaccination rate. But it doesn’t line up with a university policy mandating weekly testing for all of Clemson’s students regardless of their vaccination status, which has taken precedence until now.
Jeff Kallin, Clemson’s associate athletic director for communications, told TCI the athletic department has its own testing protocols for competition and that they have been adjusted to align with the MAG’s guidance. Going forward, Clemson’s fully vaccinated student-athletes will only be tested if they’re symptomatic or if there’s an outbreak, which also falls in line with the MAG’s updated recommendations."

While the majority of Clemson's football players have been vaccinated, those who haven't are being tested three times per week.

ACC doesn't require testing vaccinated players...

once you reach a vaccination threshold, which we have exceeded. Yet, Clemson was risk averse and decided to routinely test vaccinated players anyway. Duke is the only other ACC school that does it. It's why we lost Tyler Davis vs UGA when at any other ACC school, save Duke, he would never have been tested and could have played.

Read somewhere he was recovered but probably won’t play tonight.

Have coaches given up on Linthicum?

I don’t think the #1 center prospect has seen any PT yet. Bockhorst can’t be better at center than him.

That’s a lot to learn as a freshman. He probably needed some work in the weight room too.

Lol. He's a true freshman that has work to do in the weight room. If he was better than what we have he would be in the lineup.

Sucks about Rayburn....this is why....

We need to have more quality depth on the OL. Assuming Trotter will be at center then; not ideal considering his injury....

Trotter had won the starting job going into the UGA game before the injury. Hopefully he's ready.
