Has Dabo lost his BYOG since his house was built?

I'm not flaming here despite it sounding like it. I've noticed in the past 2 years Dabo seems to be more laid back and less in a dog fight the way he was around 2015. I know we have the OC problems since Scott left, but that was also around the time Dabo moved into his new lifestyle house and received the biggest paycheck of any head football coach in the nation. I just miss Dabo's drive and killer instinct of the 2014-2018 era.

It's not about that. It's about Dabo, on a personal level, has already achieved the pinnacle of success (house, millions, 2 titles). So, given that, the question I was alluding to is can or does he still have the same drive and determination he did before he achieved those things? I think it's a glaringly obvious question given the last 2 years performances.

“loyal to a fault.” Yet he got rid of Napier and Steele because he knew they weren’t going to get him to the top of the mountain. So now, after two titles, is the idea that he think he’s achieved enough to do what he wants and be loyal to Elliott and Caldwell, no matter what?
His freakin house has nothing to do with anything.

We lost 1 regular season game in a shootout in South Bend, we destroyed the very same team in the ACC Championship, we lost to Ohio State in the CFP semi's, who had a chip on their shoulder and scheme to beat Venables at his own game... and your opinion is the performance is down? Down from what? This is college football, you have to start over every year... we have more games to play, starting Saturday.

Re:.... we have more games to play, starting Saturday. So are you saying we didn't play last Saturday because it sure looked like Clemson on that field? And what do you attribute Georgia's play too? We didn't play them last year so it can't be they also had a chip on their shoulder.

Karma!
Building a indoor basketball arena nicer than Littlejohn in his house was a poke at Brownell.
You didn’t see Brad build a football field at his house

I heard Clements and DRad told Dabo to add that to the house, just to rub it in Brownell’s face.
It’s really not very nice. But that’s just the way Clemson has always been.

No, what we miss is Deshaun, Hunter, ETN and Trevor. Being jealous is not a good look.

I'm going on a "huge" assumption that what Dabo says to his staff is mostly in private.

Dabo was a successful realtor who had just completed building his dream home when he left it all to be an assistant coach at Clemson. Coaching is who he is and a big house and paycheck won’t change that. Also you have no idea what else may be going on in his life that may influence his outward affect.

I don’t think you’re being fair at all.

I don’t think Dabo has lost his edge, nor do I think that he cares any less than he did before the new house, the new contract, or the titles.
I do think that it’s a lot harder to maintain a high standard of winning when that standard is a national championship. It’s not realistic to expect to win it all every year.
What is realistic is to expect to have an innovative offense, and one that can move the ball and score against other elite teams, and to have coaches who can make adjustments when needed. We haven’t done that recently, and that’s on Dabo as well as the entire offensive coaching staff and players. But I don’t think we are in this position because Dabo cares less, but because these issues were masked by generational talent like Trevor and Etienne.
Now that the issue is right in front of Dabo’s face, I am confident that he will address it. I will be shocked if he doesn’t. If we are still having this conversation at the end of the season then I think it’s fair to suspect complacency. But not now.
