It’s just a weird dynamic here where he can’t ever be questioned about anything, and anyone who disagrees is wrong, a Coot, etc.
We are to the point that many people here believe that every media member who says anything bad about our football program is “anti-Clemson” and is part of a conglomerate of nefarious evil-doers who have conspired to tear down our football program.
It’s similar to how many people were about Trump. And it’s a bit concerning.

A crap ton of posters that seemed to heavily disagree with the whole coaching staff including the head coach. The coots that u mention are usually the posters with 33% pulse which are pretty easy to spot. And you’d have to be fairly naive not to agree. Naive or trolling.

The thing that many on TNet don’t understand (you included) is that you can disagree, but you cannot exert any control or influence on how Dabo runs the program. We can fuss, cuss, complain and argue over alot of things. But we cannot influence what is actually done, Dabo has made that abundantly clear in many of his comments.

Maybe JK should have asked does Dabo have a cult following on TNet. By the criteria he posted I would say that he definitely does. I don't think that many people here would think that they can actually do anything to make a difference, but we will state what we think should be done.
Sometimes there is meaningful discussion on the merits or lack thereof, but there is nearly always someone with a comment like, "when you have won 2 national championships, you can decide." Nobody here is gunning for Dabo's job, and nearly everybody thinks he has been fantastic. If they can articulate a reason the person might be overlooking, then let them state it. I don't care if they regurgitate what Dabo gave for reasoning, as long as it is not just it has to be right because Dabo did it.

The dip actually has a quote permanently in his posts that the only thing wrong with Brownell is “turd fans questioning every move he makes” as he posts a thousand times crying about why he can’t question everything Dabo does. I’d say it be hard to get more hypocritical but then he goes and builds the biggest ignore list I can find on Tigernet while further crying that cultists refuse to listen to opposing views. Would also add "If you criticize the progressive agenda of the government, you're a fascist". You are quite the polarizing Clemson man on this board. You defend a coach Brownell who has shown very little improvemment, if any, in basketball over 12 years. Yet you are an annual critic of Dabo and his success over 14 years. He's done wonders for Clemson, the university, city, and state of South Carolina as a whole.
Your #3. "Anything the leader does is justified, no matter how harmful it may be." What the actual #### are you even talking about in regards to Dabo? It's weird how a Clemson fan can hate on their successful most coach of all time. Yet here you are being a putts.
Quite frankly you're jealousy of Dabo's success is ugly. To the point you'd stoop to demean his good name speaks volumes about you.
As much as I dislike your supreme choice in bb coaches.I still would not say Brownell is a harmful man. He just isn't very good at his job.

members of the cult of Clemson and Dabo. It never ceases to amaze the number of people blindly loyal to the leadership of Clemson University, Clemson players, coaches, and especially Dabo.
I love Clemson. The University and the town. It is on my way from home for me. I value my Clemson diploma and my Clemson ring. Because of that I am the exact opposite of blindly loyal. I think we should be the biggest critics so that we ensure that Clemson maintains the integrity and the image and the mission that led us to go there to be students to be a part of the family.
It’s like friendship. I have always been loyal to my friends and family and when they ask me a question I give them an honest answer. I have had a few friends over the years say why are you telling me these things you’re supposed to make me feel better or say something along the lines of I should be telling them what they want to hear. I’m like no. That’s not true friendship. A true friend is the one that has the courage to tell you the hard truth. To be the mirror that you need to look into and see what’s really going on. A true friend doesn’t have blind loyalty. A true friend does enable your bad behavior or tell you what you want to hear. A true friend is brutally honest. A true friend tells you what you need to hear. Because a true friend cares.
Are your family members, your loved ones, your true friends, should absolutely love you and support you, but they should also be your biggest critics! Because they are the only ones that truly know you and that have the credibility to effectively communicate what you need to hear at times! They are the only ones that can effectively provide constructive criticism which we all need!
I have always believed that loyalty trust friendship should not just be supportive but also constructively critical because you want the best for the people you truly care about and love. I truly care about and love Clemson University and the town of Clemson. And those two things are bigger than any team or person or coach or president or administrator etc.! I have posted this many times over the years, but my loyalty is to Clemson. Not people. Not University presidents or coaches and certainly not players. People come and go. The town and the university will always remain. My loyalty is to the town and to Clemson. Not people.
Some people can’t be hypnotized. Some people will never fall for propaganda or become a member of a cult. I am one of those people. I am a radical libertarian and have always been since birth a contrarian and a skeptic.

I think people confuse unconditional love and blind loyalty. They are not the same thing! If you truly love something you should be completely supportive but never ever blindly loyal! You should always be a harsh critic, but do it in a supportive way!

Simple answer from me is he is 97-10 overall, Longest winning streak in the nation, Longest winning streak at home in the nation and the ACC ever, 6 ACC championships, 6 CFB playoff appearances, 4 National championship games, 2 National Championships in the playoff era. Why should anyone be unsatisfied with the performance of this coach? This is not an industry that we the fans are investing in expecting interest on our money. I may see his point.
He is basically saying that anyone who questions or criticizes any facet of our football program or how it is run on Tigernet gets blasted unmercifully by the "cult-keepers" as Coots or otherwise idiots to the extreme. I offends me a lot when I see a longtime Tiger called names or "cancelled" in an ugly reply for just sharing a perspective that maybe, just maybe we should have left Klubnik in, or "where is the running game", or why can't our receivers make cuts sharp enough to create some space like Renfrow used to.
Keep Tigernet nice and respectful and you will never hear Judge make this observation again. Another thing, leave any mention of the coots off Tigernet. Ignore "that other program" as just that.
