Wake is moving the football!
Not saying they will win; but right now they are moving it.
39 players on Wake with at least 4 years on campus. No replacement for experience.

That’s why WF is good every 3-4 years. Covid allowed them to have an extra year this year. Still need to figure out how they get their wrs.

You all remember the controversy with BYU years ago? This was years and years ago(dating myself). But, because of their LDS missions, the BYU players are older and have grown into their man bodies. IT us to be something that caused some level of discontent. Brought that up to say, "being able to keep kids on campus an extra year really does serve dividends if you have hard workers"! And a good system in the 1st place.

I remember. Weren't the best out of high school but man were they disciplined, and like you said, manchilds. When you have players like that, everyone knows the play and they all know how to read defenses. Huge bonus. Kinda like Dabo says, it only takes one mistake to blow the play.

TigerDominance® Clawson and that staff with more talent would be scary!
How much longer do you think he remains at Wake? A great school and place; but in terms of football not the most resourceful place you will find.

Yeah I don’t get why he did not declare for the draft like 2 years ago. Maybe for him it is about college girls instead of money.

I’m not so sure. He’s a really good college qb, but…

I have no clue how he looks in pro-style offense. And pros ain’t gonna adopt a slow mesh offense into their scheme.
He’s also slight in frame. If he doesn’t have a good line in front of him… ehhh.
Wish him the best. There’s just a lot against him.

The mesh offense has nothing to do with how Hartman looks. He can throw it anywhere on the field with touch, make every read and put the ball where only his receiver can make the catch. He also has a decent play fake and can run when necessary. None of that has anything to do with the mesh. Wake's offense is hard to defend usually because of their mesh style, but Hartman is just very good period.

You think so? Seems pretty small, like a Manziel or Tua. Not sure his two-way style wouldn't get him killed in the NFL.
Either way, it's pretty fun to watch Wake when they're not playing us.

I think so! He's taller than Baker Mayfield, LOL(i'm a Panthers fan). And, Drew Breeze is only 5'10.
Hartman is listed at 6'1 and 210.

I think he's good enough for the NFL. Keep in mind Colt McCoy is still playing. Back up QB in the NFL is a great gig.

I can think of half a dozen NFL starters I would sit for Hartman. Geno Davis and Mitch Trubinsky are still starting.

And it can’t be right away. If he gets into a team and backs up a veteran for a couple years, ie Matt Ryan in Indy, I could see him ultimately doing well on Sunday. But if he gets thrown into a situation like what Trevor had in Jacksonville, or the starting veteran gets KO’d and he becomes a starter too early - I’d be surprised if that played out well for him. Has to be the right fit, imo.

Buying time and finding Perry.
Dude isn't tall; but he's calm under pressure. He will get a chance at least at the next level.

Dude is a beast. I have to give our DB's a little bit of a pass. (not a complete one).
Dude is dropping dimes to WR's who have been on campus for 4 and 5 years getting stronger/bigger/faster/more experienced. They've played a lot of ball and have a accurate/gamer type QB.
Reminder, Over the last 5 meetings Wake is 4-1 vs. Nancy Stank!

Absolutely. He's a mid-round guy due to his height but he'll get a shot and probably make the most of it. He's a Drew Breeze clone. Guy is super accurate. I cursed him all night last week. You couldn't walk up to the WR and hand him the ball any better than dude could throw it. He has that IT factor. In his case he's scrappy and tough as nails.
