I agree. The marching 101 is loud and proud and nothing wrong with that. They had a chance to make a statement along side the football team. Let me know how bad your head hurts after this weekend hearing the bee’s play that crazy ### tune that they play constantly....and I sit 30 yards from them...oh my,

What has happened to the Marching 101? The first time they came to Clemson they had 24 or more sousaphones (they had 4 on Saturday) and marched probably 300. The count during the game I did was 76. It is hard to hear opposing bands where I sit in the stadium but they were barely audible. Just curious as to what has happened for them to just shrink so much. I know that it is an HBCU things that they sit like statues most of the entire game but that looks like it’s no fun at all. I was looking for them to bring a big group and both bands together to fill the field.

Hard to say why. Their first home game isn't until Oct 2, so I couldn't find a picture of them in their stadium to see if their full band is any bigger this year. There were definitely more horns when they performed virtually for Biden's inauguration back earlier this year. I'm assuming it's COVID or money related. They definitely had a full drumline, but not a full horn section.
