GT Tailgating

Can anyone give me some insight into the tailgating situation at GT? Some friends and I are planning on going out there around 9 but dont know the layout or if its first come first serve or what.

Any advice is appreciated. TIA

It's in the city, so pretty much every spot that is safe is taken by Techies. You're better off going to a nearby sports bar...

It's like one of our practice fields on gameday....solid orange, baby!! It's a must, close walk to stadium, easy route on/off I85.....don't get sucked into the neighborhoods around bobbie dodd!

Try getting to the vVarsity around 8 , get a better spot. Easy access to 85.

Varsity is your best bet, but you need to get there early. GT fans won't tailgate at all or at best 1 hr before game, but you will compete with our fans who have limited options for tailgating lots and who will arrive early, of course.

Have a safe trip and see you in ATL.
