FSU hit Cagle better in the series we had vs then. That actually never got to Thompson as much

Lots of folks disagree on this because they say Pitching in Softball is different from Baseball in that a Pitcher in Softball can pitch without any rest at all but to ask Valerie to come back from that stellar complete game yesterday was a lot to ask for in my opinion.Now Valerie could up and find her mojo again I hope she does but right now FSU is seeing everything come across the plate very very good.

Good news is . . . We’re only 2 down with plenty of time to “right the ship”!!!

A walk and a long single, high off the right field wall by Logoleo put runners at 1st and 2nd (should have been on the corners)
Russ advanced the runners to 2nd and 3rd with a grounder to second (cost ourselves a run with poor base running . . . Hoping we get her in anyway) . . . fsu goes to the pen for another arm
Oda walks . . . Bases loaded
Moore with sac fly to left 2-3 seminoles . . . 2 outs
Pereira draws another walk . . . “Blue” calling it tight . . . Not giving the high part of the zone
Clark double down left field line (her 2nd hit of the game) . . . Scoring 2 . . . 4-3 Tigers
Val F-7 to end our half of the inning

Yes, in honor of the James Madison softball player that killed herself. Very very sad story after she'd had an almost career series too. Seemingly had everything going for her... You just never know.
