Great catch by Bryant but...

Oct 20, 2014, 9:51 PM

Ability like that kind of shows why Bryant should have stayed in school. The Steelers got a 1st round talent in the 3rd round because Bryant sold early. If he comes back and puts it together at Clemson he obviously has the talent. Hope he keeps it up and hits it big on his second contract.

omg at that logic.

Pretty simple logic

He has the talent to be a first round draft pick but he didn't have the production to match. He still had a year to show the production, but instead he went with talent and no production and it landed him in the later rounds. I think he probably cost himself around a million dollars or more by leaving 1 year early.

But he is a year or more closer to his second contract. 1st rounders can be locked into their rookie contract a year longer.

They also make it to their second contract usually

First round picks are locked in longer, but the clubs have more invested in them, and try and make sure they succeed. 4th round picks often get drafted over before they even get a chance.

RBs.

He would not have improved to 1st round. Likely he would've stayed about the same and had another year with his bros.

Pretty much a win win situation. He made a fine decision.

A penny today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow.

He is making money now and will get another contract down the road.

Nobody knows how thus season would have went to better his stock a year later.

hopefully he will make enough to keep the WRU pipeline in tact at clemson for a few more decades.

He made the right decision for him n his family. Plenty of 4th rounders n beyond do ok. But to see Cole try n throw the deep ball to Bryant, Idk with the offense we have n struggling. I think the odds were better last year for him to come out.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Oh, please. He made the right decision...

Oct 20, 2014, 10:12 PM

He is with one of the best managed organizations in the NFL. Perfect situation for Bryant.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not disagreeing with you but he had no control in that.***

Maybe so.... But this far we have no one that would have gotten the ball to him this year. ..... So I'd say he may have made a good choice
