Told ya so, again

May 21, 2022, 10:09 AM

It's a simple system analysis. What causes parents to send their kids to public schools and to take them out of public schools? If you are a pathetic progressive living in your woke echo chamber, you can't do this analysis because you don't know why parents don't want their 3rd grader told it is okay to change genders.

I've said it in numerous TNet posts that public schools will go to the cr@pper if the craziness continues - cr@pper being that parents who can will pull their kids out. When the good students leave, good parents leave. The system self degrades...the kids who need good education most get worse education.

This is a set-up that self-reinforces itself in a feedback loop to get worse, unless something changes.

This is unintended but systemic discrimination by the left against the black community.

Re: Told ya so: Lefties' solution - ban private schools

May 21, 2022, 11:33 AM

The collapse of the public schools will never take place.

Democrats and RINOs will get the MSM to con-Cock-ted narrative to make private schools look bad. Americas lefties celebrate any attacks on the non-public school alternatives for educating our young.

Notice how, when examples of homosexual grooming in the schools are cited, that the lefties deflect and cite that pedophilia in the Catholic church needs to be addressed first, and that specific cases of heterosexual grooming in private schools 'proves' there are other problems that should take priority over the 'malicious gossip' about homosexual grooming.

Colleges and Universities were the 'incubator' for this homosexual grooming horror, and they've been at it long enough to brain wash the young school teachers in public schools that it's OK.

The political infrastructure is now in place as far as 'state sponsored perversion' in the public schools, and the political influence of the public school / university system will make private schooling illegal and home schooling as 'uncertifiable' and 'not recognized' alternatives to public schooling.

Public schools with their focus on homosexual grooming as the 'educational priority' cannot win on merit, so they will see to it that their competition becomes outlawed.

Gotta give credit where credit is due…

This whole thing has to be a far right wet dream. The far right (I’ll call religious right - RR) has been trying to make significant headway with school choice for years. To their (your) credit, playing the long game is probably going to pay off very soon.

You’ve masterfully (and systematically) created AND controlled the narrative…much like how you played Roe, as wrong-minded as I think it is, it IS truly masterful strategy that has been almost flawlessly executed at all levels.

As long as the public school system keeps deemphasizing math (i.e., making adjustments to grading based on the sociological / demographic background of the students) and emphasizing the 'feelings' of the teacher in the classroom instead of having teachers ST FU about their life struggles and to teach the subject matter, then the RR (Religious Right, as you've described them) will continue to pull their kids out of public schools in droves.

However, don't worry. The public school / university lobbies are very powerful, and they'll get legislators to outlaw private schools and to decertify the educations of home-schooled students. You and your buddies will be safe.

All the name of equality.

I’m not crazy about the isolated cases of teachers/districts introducing non age appropriate material/discussions either. However, these cases are much less common than the rights media/PR machine would have you believe. Again…it’s a masterful effort to control the narrative and many on the left are just tone deaf on the issue. Like anything else, there is an ounce of truth…it’s just not the huge issue you’ve made it out to be.

I’m also not anti school choice. Every parent should be free to take their kid out of school and teach them at home or send them to a private school…no issue. However, vouchers should be need based and you get no relief from your taxes otherwise.

Good points...will be interesting to see what happens with the left making it harder for private schools to exist.

Homeschooling is another option that is growing exponentially. I'm sure the progs will figure out reasons to go after that too.
