Martavis Bryant signs with Indoor Football League team

Martavis Bryant is set to play some football indoors before heading north of the border. My personal belief is no. That ship has sail and he blew it.

I wish he would get one more chance. He had the talent to be better than Sammy and Nuk, but it never happened at Clemson. In Pittsburgh, he showed that talent, but had the drug problem! I wish him well.

One thing that correlates is the guys that graduate usually stay out of trouble (even after their pro career). The guys that just leave early and blow off their degree, often end up with problems (not withstanding DW4's current problems). Even from other schools, not just CU.

Good luck Martavis, pray that you get your life straightened out.

The most serious question is, do he deserve another chance in the NFL after he blew every chance that the NFL has already gave him??? Personally, I say no, give the chances he threw away to another kid coming out of college that would take that chance, and do what is suspected of him with it!!!

Got to believe the Argoes will not be happy about this

development. He must be REALLY desperate for funds to jeopardize his last shot in legitimate football by participating in what amounts to a gag league.

He probably has blown any chance of nfl giving him another chance. Hate to see a person with his talent end up like this. All for messing with illegal drugs. He had more chances than most get, so he ask for whatever happens. Has no one to blame but himself

And now they don't even test for weed in the NFL anymore.

They do still test for marijuana in the NFL. They just don't test as often, and the penalties aren't as severe. If Martavis was ever reinstated and could land a spot on a team, he'd still get tested and he'd still fail that test and face fines.

I never purchased any, back in the day. It never was necessary. Anyone smoking it always seemed glad to share. :)

He was well on the way to.....

becoming one of the Steelers' best receivers ever but couldn't keep drugs from getting in his way. Real sad waste of real talent.

Reminds me of my sad self when I played "semi-pro" after my football school days.
