GOR question

Jul 4, 2022, 2:57 PM

If in agreement, can all the teams in the ACC not come together and renegotiate the GOR and just delete it from the contract?

It would seem logical they could, problem is how many schools will fight to keep ACC in tact. I am thinking Wake, Duke & maybe GT at least. It just depends on what conference offers the schools have to move to.

Not so much to keep in tact but just to change it's landscape. Let's be honest the conference is made up of mostly basketball schools. Allow Ckemson, FSU and Miami to leave. Bring in Kansas and any other basketball strong school that will benefit the teams that want to stay back like say Duke and Wake and UNC. Win win for everyone

No, because money.

Football package is 10x basketball package.

Why would they do that without a dead solid agreement that a new deal would be better? Everyone needs to remember that the 15 ACC school Presidents and ADs are responsible for their schools not the other 14. In simple terms, what might benefit Syracuse or Duke for example, might not be benefit Clemson or Florida State.
