Good Teams Do.....Mediocre Teams Don't

Does Dabo really believe he has all the playmakers he needs to win? Why would we sit back and watch Bama, UGA, FSU, etc continue to pull from the portal and continue to get stronger while we sit back and watch it happen. It just does not make sense to not take advantage of every tool available, especially when your competition is using it to get better.

Our recruiting continues to laud the 3 stars that are diamonds in the rough but we have NO ONE that can develop them into something better.

Please don't come back with how well we played against Tenn but just could not finish. Starting to wreak of an old term Dabo ain't to fond of......

NIL is not what is hurting this program

But it will in the future. Transfer portal is helping everyone around us but nit us because we don't use it. A lot of the development coaches on this staff had zero experience prior to joining the staff. That's a huge part of the problem. Dabo strongly believes in on the job training. And to his credit, it has worked in the past...in recruiting. Dabo trained his inexperienced to becone good recruiters. And it worked. And on the job training worked for Jeff Scott and Tony Elliott...they were trained for years under experienced coach Chad Morris. But trying to train over 70% of the staff at once is a recipe for disaster.

I have been saying the same thing about how inexperience our coaching staff truly is, and nobody wants to hear it bc they believe Dabo can create miracles. He can if he hires the right people that know how to get what he wants, and those people in the know have plenty of experience, that's why they do know!!!!

That are causing the team to play poorly OR is the entire program trying to recover from the DJ years the problem.?

You will have to admit that the downhill slide of the program began when he took over. Without question the team was able to rally around Lawrence (and Watson) because they knew who was in control..That confidence was not there the last two years. It wasn’t there in the Orange Bowl either but Klubnik must establish this in the offseason.

With that said, the coaches will need to devise a plan that will permit the team to regroup. That will, or will not, happen beginning in spring drills.
