Had a conversation with an Illinois offensive lineman who also used to play for Wofford. He was a senior this year, said Clemson was one of the top campuses and fan bases he has seen. Even after traveling to most of the Big Ten stadiums and campuses. Also said he doesn’t think it’s a bad thing Dabo doesn’t do much with the transfer portal. Apparently he tried to transfer from Wofford to Clemson but Jeff Scott (who was still OC) told him they didn’t take transfers. Then when he went to USF he tried to get him to come there. He said Dabo keeps his words to recruits, and if he offers a kid a chance to compete he doesn’t want to break his promise and bring in a transfer.
