Good places to watch game in Mt. Pleasant?

Oct 11, 2014, 7:40 AM

Down in Mt. Pleasant with the wife and 7 month old daughter, where's some good family friendly places to watch our game and some other football in general around here?

This calender is OLD! There are no bars in Charleston

specific to the home games that I know. I am recently back to Charleston and I am hugely disappointed that in a city with a large alumni base and club (with a President, Vice President, and a Secretary) can't get us a bar to watch home games.

They haven't even updated that website since UGA.

I was in charge of the club in San Diego and we had only a handful of people but a place to watch the game every Saturday together including several yacht viewing parties! Charleston with 5,000 alumni doesn't.

We usually go to Wild Wings on 17N. Lots of TVs and the food is good. We decided to check out the "official Clemson club" location last week so we went to Blues on 41. It was completely dead - there were maybe 5 people there at kickoff. None of them had Clemson gear on. It was the first place I remember leaving before the waitress came to the table. I'm not sure how it made it on that link but I wouldn't recommend it at all. There's also a Wild Wings on Coleman Blvd. we haven't been to that one for a game but it's probably fine too.

Exactly. The Charleston Club needs a new leadership.

Especially if they collect dues and can't even organize a special bar.

I guess I will go with my dad to the place you're speaking of. Go Tigers!

Thanks for the tip...I checked the link and was going to check out Blues but won't now. Guess we'll do Would Wings or look online for other sports bars.
