Accidentally sent out a code red (active shooter) to every school in the district. Every school went on lock down, kids hid, lights off, no noise, etc.

Way to totally mind #### all the kids today.

My daughter is getting her masters in early childhood ed and the district she is student teaching in is currently virtual.

She sent me a text last week and said they had an intruder in their virtual class today. A student noticed someone on their zoom classroom that didn't belong and sent a message to the teacher who told them they had an intruder. Everyone logged off and signed back into a different zoom link.

She told me they had practiced this the same as you would a fire drill. They whole process took 2 minutes.

I told her it was probably a parent who was checking to see if their child was paying attention.
