the next to last TD by USC ,, I still don't think he had

Jan 1, 2013, 5:03 PM

control of the ball before he went out of the end zone.

but you see ESPN would not go back and do a frame by frame,, stop action of it

that might cause their SEC team to lose

most every big play last night with Clemson, they would do a stop action to see what happen

agree. refs were still making up for that 1st down spot

Jan 1, 2013, 5:04 PM

at that point.

The ref got the call right the samething happen to us a few years ago against the coots.
The rule says the end of the chain! the stick has nothing to do with.

I did know that, but I've seen them use a card at times to see if there was space between the ball and the stick.

If USC got screwed, #### GOOD, mich got sscrewed on the TD that wasn't

The Dude abides

Once again, it was a TD.

Jan 2, 2013, 10:48 AM

ACE DID bobble the ball, but he also gained control of it at the last second. They showed the reply about 4 times. You can't see what happened when he went to the ground, so that's irrelevant. It was called a TD on the field. There was no evidence to prove otherwise.

Same here. He was bobbling it.***

Good grief

The TD was reviewed by the booth and the call confirmed. Both the announcers agreed it was the right call. And everyone in America, save Tigernet, is calling that phantom first down one of the biggest blown calls ever.

Side note:

Ace Sanders laid on the ground after crashing into the boards in the endzones and, while down, was called for an unsportsmanlike call...put us WAY deep on the ensuing KO.

Just a terrible officiating crew from the Big East.

Good Grief Coot

Jan 2, 2013, 12:03 PM

TigerNet is for Tigers

Any idiot could see he bobbled the ball. eSECpn keeps slo-mo and stopping where ever they want to and say "HEY! -Possession!" Really!? - Look at it in real time - he's bobbling. While you are at it, extend the 1st down sticks straight upwards and tell me that it don't have a chance of hitting the nose of the ball.

Oh and how about go and try and beat LSU sometime why dont ya....? I really thought since you were in the "SEC" you would have handled Michigan much better than you did. Really disappointed in you guys.

Good win against LSU...wasn't our night in Death Valley and came out with a loss. We were fortunate to win the last two games though so I'm not disappointed at all.

We'll just agree to disagree with the two calls. The TD was awful close...it was called a TD on the field and didn't have much to overturn it...honestly could've gone either way.

Now go google that "first down" call and show me ONE person in the US that agrees with you. I'll wait.

"Fortunate" is right, I have to admire you for your honesty - wish you'd talk some sense into all my coot co-workers that have jumped on the bandwagon and think you guys are just that good.

I'll wait on the google while I wait for y'all to win a SEC Championship. :)

It's probably a good thing you guys one or my home near 5pts may have been torched by rioters and looters.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Please don't confuse

Jan 2, 2013, 1:57 PM

"fortunate" with "lucky". It means we put ourselves in position to win the game and, when the opportunity arose, we took advantage. Now, in Clemson, we just flat out won. Your coach all but conceded by punting the ball with three minutes left...something I still have yet to heard explained. I guess he didn't want to lose by 17?

To finish 11-2 in the SEC is pretty danged good...I don't really care what you think. The BCS will say we're number 7 or 8 when it's all done...yeah, that's pretty good.

We finish with quality wins over #4 UGA (a dismantling), #14 Clemson, and #15 Michigan. Vandy will be ranked at seasons end as well. So four teams ranked.

Clemson ends with quality a quality win over #9 LSU.

So before you start "talking sense" you may want to look closer at the facts. Four wins vs. One win.

And I'm glad we "one" lol.

Coots lost by two in Baton Rouge. Tigers win by 1 at neutral

Jan 2, 2013, 12:13 PM [ in reply to Good Grief Coot ]

Coots win by ten at the real Death Valley.

Think he has you
