things could certainly change between the rest of the 2nd round today and the 3rd round tomorrow but right now UNC and N.C.State are running away with the stroke play portion of the tournament.It's a good thing though that the ACC champion like every year prior to this year is not declared after stroke play whereas it will be after Sunday and Monday's Match Play competition.

Yeah, both are on fire. Just got to get top 4... That's all we need. Horry, did William travel with the team. Zach's been playing lights out but was a little surprised to see him in the rotation today.

Colby had it going until the triple on 9. But he's playing good. Jacob, first round 2 doubles killed a good round in the first. He and Turk need to turn it on coming in.

guess he did not...they musta had qualifier this week at practice to see who would get 5th spot and Zack beat William out,that is just my wild guess though.William has been in the lineup a lot this season so it is kinda surprising that he is not at the conference tournament,just saying.

Sure wouldn't mind a little cushion heading in to tomorrow round... Whenever they get to play it. Probably not til late. My nerves can't take it. ??

I agree,would certainly like to see a nice healthy lead over the 4th and 5th place teams heading into tomorrow's final day of stroke play

Just got back from the tournament to my son’s house. It was absolutely gorgeous today, but chilly early for the first round. All of the guys played well except Zack who I think may have been a little nervous, as I think he may have felt a little pressure. Of course, sometimes you just don’t play well. I kept waiting for UNC and NC State to have their wheels fall off, but they just kept getting better. I would have felt better if just one or two guys were holding them up but it seemed like all of them were plying well. As stated earlier, all we need is a top 4 and we are in good shape for that. 100% chance of rain tomorrow so who knows what may happen. Really proud of the Tiger golfers!
