Going out on a fairly sturdy limb here. Korey Foreman is

Nov 26, 2020, 1:25 PM

??A Clemson lock. ??

He loved Clemson early and it looks like he loves us late. I don’t think he ever stopped.

Dabo just stood back and let him go through the 5-star recruiting circus to get it out of his system.

Now he’s back.

Seems that way to me anyway.

Please be careful posting things like this. He has access to this board and this just may turn him off. He definitely is NOT a lock. Doubt he comes.

I agree he's nowhere near a lock, but don't see why this post would turn him off. It's just some random guy who overly optimistic and hopeful because he really wants Foreman to play for his team. Sounds flattering really. I'd be concerned about anyone who would let an internet post like this influence such a huge life decision (it's not like a post on FGF where the coots attack their own players mercilessly 24-7).

that's a couple grand minimum. That's a lot of money to drop (and time) unless you are very interested especially since they have all already been here.

I hope you’re right. He’d be a fantastic addition. However, his language was as firm. He came back to see if there was any reason to commit. That sounds like someone hanging out with the ex to see if there is a flame left. I hope the flame is rekindled but not optimistic.

Have you seen the video talking about him visiting? Not saying he’s coming to commit but he absolutely gushed about Clemson and never said it was a look to see if he wanted to come. He stated how ever since his first visit he wanted to come here and how amazing it is and nothing negative to say etc... here

Excellent video, thanks (TU) for sharing. I was referring to his Tigernet interview, “ I just want to see the experience and see if there's a reason for me to re-commit.”

It’s tough and we are all trying to read tea leaves at this point. Seems like a good young man. Hope he ends up at Clemson.

Well, it’s my limb. I feel good about it. Time will tell.

I just don’t believe you fly your family across the country on your own dime shortly before early signing period to visit the school for a game when you visited at length for free before ... unless you’re ready to go with that school.

Let’s see how it plays out.

Re: Well, it’s my limb. I feel good about it. Time will tell.

Nov 26, 2020, 3:35 PM

Nah, when I was considering law schools, I took a two week trip around the country checking them out. A couple of those schools I had seen before. I was 99% sure which school I was going to attend, but still spent the time and money looking at everything because it's an important decision and I wanted to be sure I was making the right decision. I toured three schools after I was 100% sure I was right, just to fully consider every option. I'd consider anyone who wouldn't consider every option immature and irresponsible.

Maybe he's going because he loves Clemson and he wants to convince his parents. But maybe he's mae up his mind on UGA/LSU/USC and is just making sure he's comfortable with that decision. It's your limb, but don't call it a sturdy one. I hope you're right, as he's amazing, but absolutely nothing in his language or the rumors suggest he's a lock.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It’s just me suggesting he’s a “lock” because I want to be

You toured three schools after you were 100% decided? That doesn’t sound mature, just financially irresponsible.

Paper says that he is a good player, i think he would need to prove his self to clemson. Either way it goes, next man up!

He got rave reviews from camps last year. He was at one with Bresee among others, and all the O lineman said he was the hardest to block.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You clearly get it

Nov 26, 2020, 9:55 PM

Foreman is one year behind Bresee and was just as good. Put him on the D-line next to Bresee and Murphy for the next 2 years and amazing things will happen.

Adding Foreman, Trotter and Carter to our front 7 in 2021 would be more wicked than getting Bresee and Murphy in the same class.

If Foreman comes to Clemson, I'll go on record again with something I said before he decommitted: Our 2022 team will be the best in Clemson history just because of the defense.

Here’s the way I see it based on the video interview:

1) Georgia isn’t as in it as some may think. Likely main draw is SEC stage.
2) LSU is playing to his “being better every day then the previous day”. They’ve got some dudes and some NFL talent and they hit it off with Korey and they’ve got some swagger going. I think Korey finds it inspiring.
3) USC ain’t gonna pull him with “we want you, we need you”. If you watch his body language you can see I think that actually is pushing him away from them. Wrong tactic.
4) ASU is really driving home his NFL plans. Of all the teams he spoke about, I think this is one of the best pitches to him.
5) Clemson has done everything right and he has nothing negative to say. He lit up about them. I think the only thing holding him back has been his family and the distance. And maybe cause the visit was just TOO GOOD.

Honestly, I think this is mainly a race between ASU, Clemson, and LSU at this point. Of these three, I think ASU and Clemson are his best fits, and I absolutely think Clemson will be the best overall for him. This weekend should hopefully just verify what he already knows deep down, which is why he committed in the first place. Clemson IS his team.

It just baffles me to think that a player would be

Re: It just baffles me to think that a player would be

I utterly agree, makes me wonder a bit about his motivations. He’s def got some dudes in his ear down there and they are likely driving this “tough time but we gonna re emerge” line. And the mason guy he mentioned plays there. I think the LSU PLAYERS have been the biggest recruiters from LSU. Luckily, at Clemson, the whole program sells, not just one aspect.

I think Clemson just needs to lock him in with the right presentation. Just validating what he already knows. Let him realize that. So it’s his decision again. And hopefully all the other noise will fade away.

IF he is more motivated by personal, individual achievement and pure NFL dreams, LSU may win out. And not because they put more guys in the league. Because it’s more about the individuals.

IF he listens to his heart and what will really be the best fit, all around, and if he can realize that, it will be Clemson.

ASU will win out if they do a good enough job of pitching him his NFL dreams and proximity to home.

It is truly in our court and all the other teams courts right now. The best “closing techniques” will win. Just a matter of who’s gonna figure that out with him and execute.

Is also a 2021 recruit. Apparently they hit it off last year in camps and some talking heads thought they might be a package deal. Supposedly he hit it off with Payton Page too though. Probably should be the last reason for commitment but these are 17-18 year olds.
