It would very interesting to know how many of these idiotic posters, who know exactly what to do in every situation, have EVER put a a pair of shoulder pads or snapped a chin strap! Very simple explanation, we got out played on both sides of the ball, especially at the line of scrimmage. When that happens, you usually loose and in the Sugar Bowl, we lost, to a better team that night. Some of you are starting to sound like the Ohio State Whiners most of you complained about all week before the game.
Not everyone, but some people, and that's exactly why I said "some." A lot of these people are the same ones, if you check their previous posts, that were talking about how bad we were going to beat the Buckeyes, sometimes it's best just to sit quietly and see what happens. However, some people never learn.....
Big sky, nailed it. I have said since the Notra Dame lost that we did not have a good enough O-Line to win a Natty. I also said our defense was not good enough to stop BAMA. You will need two shutdown corners and a pass rush to do that. Little did I know, at that time, we would also need that to stop the ????’s. A great 10 year run we are on. Clemson’s future looks bright.
Very true. I can accept this loss knowing that the coaching staff that the Tigers have in place, see the shortcomings and will begin making corrections. The Buckeyes were better Friday night than the Tigers. I bet they will not be next time. And, there will be a next time.
The recruiting indicates to me that the offensive line problem is being corrected. Let’s see how our OL coach gets these big time recruits playing big time football quickly. Spring ball is going to be a treat to see.
Funny how everyone talks about the OL and need better

Recruits at that position. We better worry more about getting 49 points being scored on us,and it could easily have been more. The OL will be better next year with another year under its belt. That being said, I think our defense is pretty darn good, but when we face teams that quick snap us, we struggle terribly.Hard to play D when they're getting the call way too late or not at all. I truly believe that set the tone early on,especially running down our throats when our guys just were not ready for the snap. Seems the play calling became panicky, along with the offense and Fields had a field day with all their possessions.
