Has nothing to do with COVID. The VP of public safety has been on the record wanting to get rid of that since he got here from Charleston 3 years ago. COVID is just an excuse. Gathering at the paw is gone for good.

You always have people that want to kill the fun in everything. A tradition can go on for 50 or more years and one freak accident happens and that’s it no more fun for everybody.

Life is risk. You can’t sanitize life and you can’t make life safe. And the thing that’s so hilarious about all of this is we have never lived in a world that was safer whether it’s guns or violence or global military conflict or anything else. We are living in the safest country in the world at the safest time in world history but yet you got chicken Littles running around everywhere screaming that we are doomed!
