Exactly, she said almost the exact same thing about UGA.
His high school is a short drive away from me... I wonder if I could get some people from the NYC Clemson Club to head over there one afternoon with some signs and show him some Clemson love. Anyone great with photoshop? I'd love to make a huge poster board with him like this but in a Clemson jersey and put "you'd look great in Clemson orange" or something along those lines. If he ends up at USC, that would be ridiculous.

I'm dead serious, I know exactly where the school is on Paramus Road.
If I was in his shoes and went outside to 40 people draped in orange doing the cadence and holding signs with my name on it, I'd love that. I'd like to think he would too! I guarantee you there's no USC alumnus club willing to do that around here. Clemson games in NYC are crazy... Last time I attended one of the viewing parties, there were 100+ Clemson people in the bar.

We care because he will likely play DE and with such a dominant D Line it may not matter who we have at DB

The ground shakes too much in LA. Why would anyone want to go to someplace that could fall off into the Pacific? Not me, had to spend some time out there and I didn't like it.

Who cares? I understand that we are deep at DT. However, you cannot pass up the opportunity to take a young man like this. He is athletic enough to play DE. I'll just list a front 7 for example, say starting the 2017 season. Imagine Wilkins and Lawrence up the middle with Gary and Bryant as bookends, backed by linebackers Tre Lamar, Shaq Smith, and Chad Smith. Imagine a bench of Huggins, Yeargin, Xavier Kelly, Cervenka, Sterling J., Pagano, Robinson, Ferrell, etc. When your recruiting is hot you keep piling up the talent. Is there a chance you will lose talent to transfers? Of course, but we need to push very hard for Gary.
Man, I'm getting more and more excited thinking about how well Clemson is recruiting. And to think 2017 could be one of our best classes ever. At least that's what I hear. We will have our newest football complex addition finished before signing day 2017. We are here to stay guys.

Usually the ones that do are attracted to the stuff that gets them in trouble. I think he is a good kid from all I have seen and I cannot blame him for taking advantage of traveling the entire country to check out all of his options. We will be fine without him but even more awesome with him. His choice really doesn't effect is as much as it would have 3 years agao

... and Staples Center. Then drive back to USC campus.
Since that will take about 6 hours he will get a nice taste of traffic in Los Diablos.
Then he'll see that the song girls aren't all that when you factor all the other crap you have to deal with in LA.

If he still wants to go to LA, more power too him.
I think Clemson stands alone in being a great, safe, fun, college campus. Cannot say the same for USC or USuC.

Just wait till we get him in for his official. Never ever count out Dabo. Who would have ever thought we would possibly add Pinckney, Lawrence, Kelly, Shaq, Lamar, and now possibly Gary to our defense? Years ago we would have been happy to land 1 or 2 guys like that in a class.

Would love to have him in a Tiger uniform, but it's hard to imagine a kid who sees Southern Cal as a great choice, also seeing Clemson, SC as a contender.
We'll see in a few weeks I suppose.
