Those folks are like the gum stuck too hot pavement, just an eye sore. Even after someone says he just lost his daughter they went even harder at him. Guy was pumped up and who knows what was going on around well before that clip.

As if those jack@sses in Columbia aren't the worst fanbase in America. Every time I've been to Billy Brice those morons have thrown trash, started fights they couldn't win, used profane language and have embarrassed themselves. They are the rudest most disrespectful fanbase in the Country.

I have no words for their responses. Even after someone pointed out that he had just lost his daughter and may have been emotional, they kept on. It looked to me that the Wake fans were not upset by it, so why should it bother the Coots? If I recall correctly when Ryan Hillinski's parents were in the crowd and his dad got upset about things (most people justifiably gave them a pass on it, Gamecock fans were not upset about that. Funny when the shoe is on the other foot, things look different. People need to take into account how both Brysee's and Hillinski's dads had a lot going on. Give them a break!

They are Wake Forest fans.
The only "trash talk" you will see from them is an explanation of what materials are recyclable and which are composable.
I mean, even the most inebriated Deac only goes so far as snickering about how they do not rinse out their food containers before tossing them into the blue bins.

From my experiences, WF fans are worse than gamecock fans. Our attitude was, "its WF, you are supposed to win. Cheer for good plays, but dont be an ###, enjoy the road game atmosphere and go home."
However, from the pregame activities to the end, WF fans all around us were berating us and throwing ice, trash at us. All unprovoked. Not college kids, but mature looking adult fans. I certain hope my experience are not the norm, because it was embarrassing.

When I saw that I yelled at him because I thought it was a random Clemson fan being an ***hole. When I saw it again and understood who it was I calmed down a bit. I was still uncomfortable with it so I watched it a couple of times. Those people were all wearing Clemson attire. He was celebrating with the Clemson people around him. Totally appropriate.

A few differences between me and a Coot:
1. I don't tune into a national broadcast where USuC is playing and hope they will lose. They are already on their way to losing.
2. USuC is hardly ever on a national broadcast.
3. I have zero knowledge of anything going on within their program. None. It's almost if they were playing in a lower division like Charleston Southern or S.C. State.
Not surprising, the most downvoted comment is this one:

The man was happy for his son and his team and, by extension, his family. I highly doubt he was talking trash to them, though I can see how it looked that way. He was extremely emotional, as he had every right to be. Given the fact that it was his son who made one of the key plays in OT, it's not unexpected. Now, if he was actually trash talking and yelling at the Wake fans, then yeah, it's not cool for any fan to do that. But he also shoved a Clemson fan as he was going down the steps, so I'm pretty sure it was just a LOT of pent up emotion that was coming out all at one time. But worst case scenario, it was just words. No obscenities, no violence, just a LOT of pent up emotion.

park with mobile homes that look unkept or people
in Walmart who have tattoos from their nose to their
toes...or even better...only have every other tooth

You know everytime I hear a gamecock fan talk about another team being trashy I LMAO ? and let me give you the reason behind my thinking ? I'm a retired south Carolina state trooper and yes I'm a tiger ? fan but I have had to work traffic at both ball games. Part 1 Clemson fan are usually so nice they don't say one bad thing the friendlies people in the world during the whole ball game unless they are playing Carolina there's maybe 3 or 4 arrest a day. Part 2 when you work a Carolina game you get cussed at thing thrown at you, they arrest so many people at every Carolina game they had to build a temporary jail under the stadium with a magistrate and a van making straight back and forth trips to the main jail downtown. Lol ? now all you coot fan want to tell me which team has the trashyiest fan !!!
