master - I called them and was told my orders were canceled because of a problem with my credit card. I was given some spiel about the security code wasn't valid, or the expiration date was incorrect. They couldn't tell me exactly which one was the problem. This, my friends, is a load of bullhockey.

I used the card info on file when I placed the orders on Oct. 1st and typed in the security code. The orders were confirmed, and my card was charged. Now, 4 weeks later the order is canceled because "we've received a request from the ACC to cancel your order(s) for the event." I had to order different tickets, because the ones I originally ordered were not in inventory. If there was a problem with my card, I should have been able to keep the seats and pay with another card. Instead, I placed another order online this morning, but had to get seats on the Coastal side since everything on the Atlantic side were row 27 and higher between the 20s.

I hope this helps others who got the same e-mail I got on Saturday. I would be interested to know what others were told also.

Thanks for sharing this experience. I was told the "box office" canceled my order, Ticketmaster didn't know the reason why. I didn't bother contacting them and just reordered new tickets. Luckily, I was able to get tickets in the same section but on a different row. I'm not digging the explanation about the credit card info either because the charge went through legitimately the first time, if the credit card info was incorrect then the charge shouldn't have gone through. And I didn't get an email letting me know about this, I just happened to check the Ticketmaster app on my phone. I will say that they processed my refund yesterday and it's showing on my credit card.

The people at Charlotte Sports Foundation and the ACC that ran it last year we’re a mess. My bet would be they told Ticketmaster those seats were available but then sold them themselves and just realized their mistake.

Glad the disarray in the Coastal means there are still probably lots of open seats.
