Re: FSU players get preferential treatment from Tallahassee cops

How are FSU faithful reacting? They are attacking the messenger, downplaying shooting at people because it just a BB gun, comparing it to a game of paintball, worrying about possible suspensions for the ND game, and getting ready to sue the NYT.

Here's a sample:

"NYTIMES ARTICLE = Trash"

"Who gives a ### about bb guns, stop being a total ###. The only thing I would be concerned about is cops mistaken it for a real gun. Kids are kids stop crying over pointless stuff. Bbs guns oh the horror!!"

"We shot anything we could cars, windows, signs, light posts, a few people. Not saying it's right but it's common behavior for young adults so get off your high horse. If they were arrested 8 days ago they weren't charged with a felony since that would result in immediate suspension.

Bottom line the police should be spending time dealing with real crimes not petty juvenile pranks."

"I suggest we start a FSU defense fund with boosters an Alumni giving money in order to sue the NY Times for blatant misreporting and slander against Jameis, Coach Fisher and the Athletic dept. of the University. Lets raise a couple of million dollars to go after them and hire a Johnnie Cochran, to take it and argue to the court in New York. I say take the #### gloves off and fight back or this will keep going and going. Lets fight them on their half truths, lies and distortions about the case. Put me down for $1,000 and lets go raise some hell with these demonic ###### bags."

Now, I'm proud of Clemson, Dabo and staff, and the young men we have playing for us. I believe Dabo's leadership wouldn't allow things to get this out of control in Clemson. However, I hope our fans would not tolerate this if we had a similar situation. Being a fan shouldn't mean being blind to the facts and losing all common sense and decency about how people should behave in society.

Lord have mercy, those poor delusional fans

I'm pretty sure that shooting at things (other than target practice and hunting) is not normal young adult behavior, at least not where I come from...hmmm maybe that's my problem....

Wow! Winston, Casher, Williams, and Edwards with BB Guns

cause $4200 in damage without being really looked into until the NY Times asked how the investigation was going?

Jesus, Jimbo lets those guys do anything they want even shooting up the town with BB guns.

This article should be pretty damaging to FSU's reputation. I would guess that local police departments are sometimes lenient on college students. Being around Clemson most of my life, I would think that is true even in Clemson but it seems that FSU might be totally corrupt. Seems as if the FSU athletic department and local police agency has taken a page out of the Obama's justice department. A case gets investigated and continues under investigation for a long time but no finding is made and when the press asks about it they say that is old news. Pretty sweet how they never have to account for anything.
