Wiggins embraces first Death Valley experience and Tiger fans

Freshman defensive back Korrin Wiggins played in the first game he has ever seen live from Clemson's Death Valley, and came away feeling "honored" after the experience. What does he say about Clemson fans? What was running down the hill like? Full Story »

Yea, me too. That's what jumped out at you in the article. He's got a great attitude and is glad to be at Clemson.

Every single one of them. The coaches, the players, the trainers and the staff.

Just dang we are so blessed!

Amazing that the first game you ever attend, he's

playing in it. Bet he's glad he flipped from North Carolina at the last minute. Although if he'd gone to UNC he wouldn't have to go to classes.

You are so cruel...

I think he was a NC State commit before we flipped him.

Sounds like a sharp kid. I want the most talented players we

Can get, but I really feel like this staff gets, if not better players, better people.

And I really appreciate that aspect of what's being built***

Wow - first game in the Valley? He sure picked a good one but it's kind of downhill from here (until FSU at least).

That's kind of like landing Kate Upton for your first date. :)

Akin to parachuting from an airplane after first takeoff***

"You’ve got to love waking up every day and going to work for those fans, and just cherish it. You don’t expect it, but you really appreciate it."
That is an attitude that you rarely see from a player. I remember when we recruited him, I didn't think he'd see the field much. Proves how wrong we as fans often are about recruits, and how Dabo et al. recruit quality young men.

What's this "we" stuff....***

There's no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people who ask questions.

I was fortunate enough to stand in line with this young man's family during the fan appreciation event. They were A+ folks. It is obvious where he gets his attitude from. His dad said it came down to us and Ohio St for Korrin. After his last visit here, he said it was the obvious choice for him. His grandparents were there also and had great things to say about Clemson. When we met him, he had a big smile and shook hands with my 7 year old son and took a picture with him. I was very glad to see him play on Saturday. He is gonna be a great player to watch. Very glad to have new guys like him in our program. He is also a pretty dang good football player. That was a great tackle for loss he had.

I'm a former Tiger football LB now living in Korrin's hometown of Durham, NC. It's great to see him doing well and enjoying the experience. He made a great choice in coming to Clemson!
