Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love y'all showed me yesterday in DV. My eyes got blurry and my heart filled. The cheers were for the Marines that did not come home that I served with and all of my brothers in 1/1, 2/9, and 3/5 that I pulled triggers with against terrorist ######## in Desert Storm, Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I will be a Bulldog and a Tiger Fan til I drop with Garnet and Blue and orange and purple blood running through me. The halftime show where my beloved Marching 101 and Tiger Band integrated almost took me flat out. That was astounding. I marched on the 101 as a snare drummer from '87 to '89 and it brought tears to my eyes. You guys showed why there is something special in those hills. Now that that one is in the books, I become the biggest non alum Tiger Fan on earth. GO #### TIGERS!!!!!

I'm glad that Coach Dabo had the Class Not to Run the score up on that particular day. As 9-11 was an emotional Day for All of us, and those who are still coping with the loss of Loved ones.
I'm also glad that the Academy Schools Army and Air Force Won, and wish Navy could have played and Beat another school and made it 3 Wins for All 3 Service Academy Schools. I Thank Them All for their and your Service.

Of course we want to win or at least play a hard fought game when we lose. But win, lose or draw, that special feeling in those hills, the powerful feeling of family as we stand as one in Death Valley or the way we go about our daily lives, showing our Tiger pride and working to represent the values we stand for, that's what makes Clemson THE BEST UNIVERSITY in the history of ever! So let the tide roll and the dawgs hunker down and the buckeyes well who knows or cares what they do, let them collect rings and trophies and brag about their greatness. Thank you for your service and your support of the Bulldogs and Tigers from a Viet Nam Marine (3rd Bn. 1st. Marines, 9th Engineer Bn., and 1st Engineer Bn.). The Bulldogs show a lot of fight and are a class act from the coaches down to the last player. Obviously you should be proud of your time in the Marching 101, as they put on a great show every time they hit the field. I know the Tiger Band was delighted to be able to perform with them.
