If you take sentimental thoughts out of decision I believe the Braves made the better choice.

No Freeman gave everything he had to the braves, you can respect the player but dislike the team

I don't watch baseball until maybe the Playoffs but that is a great move for Freeman and LA but bad for all the other teams in the NL.

So the braves offered him 5/$140 but he really needed 6/$160. Was never about staying with the braves. It was about squeezing every last drop out of them. Going to the dodgers might be worse than going to another nl east team. Whatever it’s a business he gave so much blah blah blah right? Nah, if it not for fear of offending the sweet sensibilities of other fans, I’d go to the June series in truist and boo him every time he came up to hit

He should fire his agent and take a basic math course himself. 40% more cost of living in Ca vs Ga. He needs $196m in Ca to equal the $140 offered in Ga.

Wasn't about the money; he wanted to go home and play in LA. He was offered more from other clubs.
The Dodgers also give him a better chance to win every year.
Yeah I know Braves wont it all last year but cmon they also won 88 games.
Glad Freeman is a Dodger.

dollars for a year's work? I am not happy about him leaving the Braves either, but he thought he was worth a six year deal, which they would not give him, and someone else did. I would be VERY surprised if the Braves were not given a chance to match the Dodgers offer, and declined.

stacked next year. Emotion aside the Braves should lose nothing at first or at the plate, Rosario returns, and money to fill other needs.
Hope the Braves SMASH the Dodgers again this season.
