Feel kinda bad for him after reading this buster olney piece and watching him go to pieces in interview clips. Fired his agent. Seems like he has regrets. Can’t help but wonder how he feels about where he is now and what his new team thinks about his attachment to their opponent in last 2 nlcs series.

Have to point out again that the braves’ offer was at least on par if not more valuable than LA’s. Olney makes this clear in the article. I’ve said on here before that that fact makes me think freddie wanted to be a dodger all along, but this news and that emotional outpouring has me second guessing.

End of the day, no matter whose fault it is freddie is in LA, it just really seems wrong

My understanding is his wife had a say in this, she is from California, so she grab him by the nose ring & said we are going to the "hills", Beverly Hills.

Freddie was born and raised in California...

and has maintained an off-season home there for years. He was also a Dodgers fan growing-up.

If I remember correctly, he played collegiately for Cal State Fullerton.

What's that old saying, "If Momma's not happy, ain't nobody happy." Feels like Momma is happy but daddy is not at all and it's showing. It doesn't matter where he's from or where he keeps a second home ATL will always be HOME and it's killing him to be away, at least that's how I perceive it. Chipper tried to warn him.
