Former Clemson RB worked out with Raiders this week

Earlier this week Wayne Gallman worked out with the Las Vegas Raiders. No signing announcement has been made to this point.
This is their RB roster currently: Ameer Abdullah, Brandon Bolden, Brittain Brown, Josh Jacobs, Zamir White.

When they say "worked out"

does that mean they had him lift weights - bench, curls, squats, maybe run some 40s? Or does that mean they ran some plays, some cone drills, and stuff like that with or without pads? I guess it's different for every team, but I've always wondered what working out for a team meant.

He was a "throw in" (supposedly) to get Nkemdiche. I think that worked out pretty well for us. Seems like Dabo actually knows what he's doing.
I've never seen another Clemson RB run with the ferocity and tenacity of Gallman. He isn't our most talented back ever, but as much heart as anyone.

Gallman was a 4 star on 247 (3 star on Rivals)

so he was a pretty good prospect in his own right. And he committed in April 2012, while Nkimdiche committed sometime in the summer before decommitting. Not sure if Gallman's recruitment was related. And yeah, he didn't have elite speed but he always ran hard, just wish he could have gotten that 1st down vs Pitt in 2016. My fave Gallman play at Clemson is the TD in 2015 vs FSU that iced the game.

Thanks for posting the video.
I wasn't referring to when they each committed but to when they were offered. Most everyone thought it was a ploy by our coaching staff to land/keep Nkemdiche. Dabo knew otherwise.
And the fact that he was listed as a 3* by one service sort of makes my point for me. By contrast, Shipley was a 5*. Gallman never came close to the speed of a Spiller or Etienne. But he would punish you and never stop pumping his legs.
Not sure what the argument is. My point is that Gallman was a beast and did more with less.
