So my neighbor comes out today.

His wife is a total Karen and she has been giving me the death look all week while I’ve been doing yard work. He is always gone most the week for work.
He tells me that I’ve been doing “ridiculous yard work w a chainsaw” and it’s been “very loud while his wife was home”.
I will say all the yard work has been done between 12pm and 5pm so not like it’s early or late.
Then he says he is having a graduation party for his daughter Saturday and he doesn’t want anyone here doing anything, painting, floors, yard, etc… I told him there will def be painters here and prob the landscaping guy to do mulch and trim and I can’t cancel these apps now. Needless to say he is pissed and I was more than nice to him about it all. But it’s my property and home and he is telling me on a Thursday to cancel my apps w people on Saturday ??

My neighbors would only say anything to me if they liked the work that was being done. Then they’d ask for the contractors number. Make sure to give the graduate a decent gift. It’s not their fault their parents are turds.

I went and gave her a check for $50 for graduation. And she is going to Clemson. Watched her grow up the last 11 years and she was always so nice to my twins when they were little and playing outside.
Prob will help the parents chill a little as well. Fight hate w good deeds.

Seem to have a lot of free time for yard work.
B) I have a neighbor like this who spends 3-5 days a week cutting his grass one strip at a time and running his blower non-stop. It is annoying. Specially since we have young kids who take naps right after lunch, which is when he starts up.
And Tree (and most importantly)) who calls appointments Apps. I feel you deserve some sort of punishment for this alone.

Tell him you she thought it was loud. Some dude you’ve never seen before came from over there to complain. Might have seen him a couple of weeks ago, but it was definitely a different car.

"bring a trailer" type listing. free firewood, free scrap metal, free dirtbike parts, whatever. Really get the dregs of society out there and in full force. or advertise a yard sale on C/L. Create some traffic issues during the party.
