a gazillion over par in his round today, about halfway through. And now, it's starting to rain. He has to really want to be out there, to continue on with no chance to win, a hurting leg and back, and now, Mother Nature chiming in as well.
It would be Oh So Easy to fake further injury and phone it in at this point in time. Even if you detest him, you have to admit the man has some serious intestinal fortitude.
Our own Lucas Glover is -2 for the day, +2 for the tourney, with two holes to play. If he can finish with that -2 score for today, he should move up the leaderboard. Conditions were already tough, and with it raining now, will only get tougher.

Woods needs to play as many competitive rounds as possible to see how he’s progressing from the injury. This year might be make or break for him deciding if he can continue playing the tour. I suspect there’s a level of pain that’ll never go away.

against Trevor Berbick, or Willie Mays stumbling and nearly falling down going to first base in his final year. I have never seen Tiger, even when he has struggled, just look totally old and defeated. That is what is going on today.
I just have a feeling that we may hear some sort of announcement from Woods at the conclusion of this round. This just looks different, somehow. Could be the ignominious final end of an era.

There is a one hundred per cent chance he will play in The Open Championship. After that, we’ll see. Lucas finished with a 68, and that might be the low round of tha day.

He is 46. Even healthy not many guys win majors at that age. He could be but I think injuries and surgeries are catching up with him. Hogan quit playing when he couldn't contend and win. I could see TW doing that unless it is some tv special event.

was his putting. He was very candid about having involuntary attacks of the "Yips", or "flinches" as he described them. That just totally unnerved him.

The last three golf shots Hogan ever hit

He hit three shots with his driver from the first tee at Shady Oaks. They all ended up in the right center of the fairway and could have been covered with a blanket.

Temps go from 90 to the 50’s what the heck. That course looks brutal to walk and 72 holes would be a brutal test for the leg. Not looking for many great rounds today. Looks like a day of survival.

Cold Canadian air pushing down east of the Rockies, nothing to stop it. NTX & OK can both get insanely violent weather because of the interaction between extremely hot air from Mexico and the opposite from Canada. It mostly drifts E-NE and produces Tornado Ally.

Didn’t one pro golfer ride in a cart with some sort of disability a few years back? Tiger has been his own worse enemy. It amazing he can get around four rounds in a row at this stage.
