For those who are knocking Brad over freshman/walk-on

transfers: It is not like other places (UGA off the top of my head) where starters are leaving. It is guys who either feel entitled or see the writing on the wall. They should understand the incoming transfers are about having bodies to work with and may the best player win, which our guys that are leaving is because they are not confident in themselves/possible closer to home, with a side of the COVID-19 issues.

I agree, I think less guys would leave if we just gave them

Well...the walk-ons were the reason we lost in the ACCT Rd 1

Against a pitiful Miami team.
Probably the NCAA also... so there's that.

Perhaps if BB actually played and developed the 4 star big men he recruited, then perhaps they would get better and be starters. O Max and Kidd both had good potential. Last year we had no inside game. Why did they not get a few minutes a game?

The idiocy in your logic is that if Brad played younger players more

to develop them, and it cost us at least a few wins (which it likely would’ve), you would’ve blasted him for not winning more.
Coaches have to play the guys that give us a chance to win. You don’t play freshmen just to keep them happy and develop them unless they are ready to contribute.

Doesn't really matter to me how many transfers we get or lose. I knock Brad because his teams overall have sucked!! At the end of the day that is what coaches get graded on. I thought?? Why does he get a pass? Because Dabo likes him??

He actually has won NCAA Tournament games. Also, no other coach has had to deal with the portal. Kids are jumping ship everywhere. It is to my opinion that the NCAA needs to get this under control.

It’s obvious he is in a favorable position with who matters among the Clemson Decision makers After 11 years it is obvious he is the Tommy Bowden of basketball

Comparing Brownell to Bowden immediately disqualifies your opinion.

The two coaches and situations are not close to being the same.

Different sports but same results If you can’t see that Brad has a ceiling over his head that limits where he can take us you are wearing rose colored glasses

Even though Clemson football was down when Bowden took over, we were still a top 3 ACC program in terms of investment, history, and fan support. It was a sleeping giant.
Bowden had some really good recruiting classes (top 10 one time even) and consistently underachieved. His teams often played uninspired and he often lost to teams he shouldn’t.
Clemson basketball has the worst basketball history in the ACC. Brad has a lot of disadvantages that Bowden never did. His teams always play hard and we rarely lose to teams with inferior talent/history.
