University released a statement today that they are installing “tailgate towers” or more aptly called beer gardens on the NE and NW sides of the stadium.

Wouldn’t be a bad place to spend halftime...

I decided to go the game last week, all of the planned tiger tail gates are sold out, we are looking at getting a parking pass on stub and just doing a stand alone tailgate among the aggie fans

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to the trip. Are there any sports bars close to Kyle Field that you would recommend? Would like to watch some of the chickens and Dogs game before our game.

I’d say that game will be on at just about every tailgate, but if you want AC, Northgate (our bar district) is a 1/2 mile walk to the stadium.

It has ~40ish bars to choose from.

Any suggestions on which bar? I have heard about "The Dixie Chicken" as a good place?

Chicken is a staple. Been around since 1974.

Corner Bar is great. The Backyard is great. Rebel Draft House has a ton of beer on tap. Logie's has a ton of TVs and big beers.

Any of those would be a good choice.

FYI: No one leaves at halftime

We went the first time we played them. Everyone watches the halftime show. If your seats are as bad as ours were you won’t be able to get to a concession anyway. Their fans are the best we’ve ever met. So Tigers don’t let us down.

I can attest to staying and watching the Texas A&M band at half time - best marching band performance I have ever seen. Those yankee bands in the Big10 may think they are the talk of the town but they don't hold a candle to the Aggie band. My wife and I saw the Aggie band perform at the Belk Bowl last year - simply incredible.
