A coot will usually blink when hit in the head with a ball-peen hammer

I got to meet Harry at Wrigley Field

I have a lot of great memories watching Cubs games on

WGN with Harry Caray and Steve Stone in the early to mid 90s. I don't know if i really "miss it" per se since i hardly watch baseball anymore, but i definitely get very nostalgic thinking about it.

They could have a nice field if they trimmed those weeds on the wall.

Never was a huge fan.. but went to the WS.

Had a blast. Wrigleyville is awesome and the stadium is iconic. Want to get back to really explore when it's not nearly as crowded but it was something I'll never forget.

I'll also never forget convincing a bar manager to put the Clemson/FSU game on one of 23 TVs in the bar I was hanging out in watching Saturday nights game. He had no idea why someone would want to watch anything other than the World Series.. I agreed, but also said that there were 23 TV's all in a row literally less than 5' apart and that he could spare one. He finally obliged and it turned out there were several Cubs fans that double as FSU fans. Had I been rooting for the Indians and Tigers, might have been a bad night. Since I was rooting for the Cubs, the 'Nole fans didnt seem to mind as much that I was obnoxiously cheering for the Tigers.

OLD Cubbie fan and never really liked him. He was the SOX announcer for years before switching over to Cubs. I like Jack Brickhouse. Liked Steve Stone, too.

For me mlb hasn't been the same since...

Harry and Steve called the games on WGN. My girlfriend at the time (in high school) and I would come home from the beach and Mom would fix us a couple of cheeseburgers as we watched the last half of the game in the AFTERNOON, before the lights were added. Even though she wasn't the world's biggest baseball fan those two were fun to listen to during the game. No duo has matched that since, in my opinion.

Really was a great duo in the booth. I actually like Chip Carey when a lot of people didn't. Don't like the guys after Stone got the boot.
