I've never seen the board this divisive. Sad. We may have our own opinions but the trash talk and hate is unreal.
I respect the Brownellers and the people I disagree with but man the personal attacks are out of hand.

No one is embracing the mentality of a loser. Some see us as on the edge of getting there, some see us on the opposite end and want change.

Seems pretty accurate to me. If it were a democracy, Brad would likely be gone by now, no? It's not, therefore his comment reigns true.
Nobody isn't disappointed. If they aren't, they aren't real fans or just don't care about basketball.
Attacking others that speak a more pragmatic approach isn't bologna just because you are upset. Everyone here needs a tad of perspective that falls into the OP's description at present, emotions be ######.

But I seem to see a lot more personal attacks from the Pro-Brownell crowd. I know it must be stressful to try and justify that point of view at this point but there are multiple posters in that small minority who question your fanhood if you don’t agree with their take.
I won’t ever question someone’s fanhood… now I may question their intelligence but I try not to unless they come across as arrogant or condescending first.
I will give JK credit that he doesn’t seem to personally attack posters. But he has launched many disgusting attacks against anything football related.

I agree with that. But if you don’t agree with people’s point of views or their agenda then you are stupid and are not a fan.
I did not attend Clemson. I graduated from East Carolina. I lived in NC. I paid for my education. To pay out of state for a private school wasn’t a smart option for me. Daddy had the money but he made me pay for my cars, insurance and clothes. He raised me to be strong and independent. In a perfect world, I would have went where my heart has always been. That doesn’t make me less of a fan or mean that I don’t belong to IPTAY.

Unfortunately when an organization refuses to act in the best interest of its clients/customers/constituents strong pushback is required. And unlike a brand of detergent, with sports we aren’t likely to switch allegiances. Clemson is our team. And if we perceive something wrong, we’re stuck with it till it changes. It’s their inaction that fuels this division. There are always outliers that will complain no matter what. But that is not what is happening with basketball. The details shouldn’t have to hashed out anymore. There is no meaningful debate. The supporters arguments are insincere and insulting to those of us who have, quite patiently, endured 13 years of this. Folks are welcome to be at odds with letting Brownell go, but I believe critical mass has been achieved. The only real question now is how much further damage to the program and Clemson’s reputation is done before the inevitable happens.
It didn’t get much play on TNet but players were taunting fans on Twitter after Monday’s announcement. “Fans” have been taunting players in return after Wednesday. As pissed as I am, I won’t go this route. But it’s happening and it is marked escalation. It’s going to be a real #### show throughout next season.

I do wish the personal attacks would end...and any reference to politics and other divisive topics. Adults should be able to allow others to state their opinions without engaging in attacks on one's character. Heck, I'm an original "yankee" although I've now lived south of the Mason-Dixon Line for over half of my 71 years. I'm also a Mets fan (don't hate me Braves fans); GB Packer fan and Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Not being from SC, I don't hate the Gamecocks as much as most of you but must admit, I do like when they're on the losing end of a contest. As Jerry Seinfeld would say "Serenity now. Serenity now. Serenity now..."
