For anybody not attending the game, make some plans to come to downtown Greer’s Oktoberfest

If you don’t know, downtown Greer has gotten majorly overhauled in the past two years, and growth is exploding. Their street festivals were always pretty good, but now they will be better than ever on the new streetscape. It’s been a couple years since they have had an Oktoberfest, but last time it was really well done and enjoyable. Let your kids go down to the end of the street and dance with the polka band!

Ancestry.com DNA says I'm only 16% German... if Oktoberfest is in September, should it be called Ceptimberfest?

It’s typically a September thang leading into the first of October, so it shoulda been called Septoberfest from the very start.
