So I picked up some Beef Hearts from Publix. Look similar to beef liver but slightly more firm. I’m going to try them Liver and onion style tonight. Anyone had or like beef heart? Same cooking time? Could use some advice.

Don't cook them as long as you do liver or they will be tough. Chunk a few chopped shrooms in withum

Can’t help ya, don’t care for organ meats. I try different types every now and then to see if I’ve changed, but i’ll Stick with skeletal muscle for now at least.

Don't know about eating them but any heart is a good catfish bait because they are tough and won't come off the hook very easily. Based on this, i would think cooking them should be slow to tenderize.

Chopped up beef hearts are great for Discus fish and other larger cichlids. I like chicken livers and calve liver. Not so sure about hearts.

Sorry, much too late a reply, but saute the hearts with some EVOO and a little white wine and a "pinch" of thyme. I'm jealous.... good stuff.
