Florida st Game

Sep 23, 2022, 3:59 AM

Is this years annual away game with my dad. Any suggestions or where to go? Or not to go lol. Bars? Food? Tailgating spots? Went to Louisville last year for the first time and went to the Alley. Was a neat spot. First time in Tally so looking forward to a good time.

there really isn't a whole lot to do in Tallahassee other than attend the game. There are some golf courses, parks, gardens, and museums. If that's your thing, the antique car museum is pretty cool. Check out the Railroad Square Art District which has a bunch art galleries, restaurants, small shops, an arcade, and a brewery. If you are a beer guy, Proof Brewing is worth a visit. Be sure to walk around FSU to check-out the campus and their athletic facilities. Most of their athletic facilities, with the exception of the basketball arena and the aquatics center, are in close proximity to the football stadium. Check-out the Moore Athletic Center (adjacent to the stadium). The last couple of times I was down there, it was open on game day.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Good breakfast place a few blocks from the stadium. I think it’s called Milt and Shirley’s.
Food was good, and they had free coffee set up for those waiting in line.
We were the only ones not wearing garnet and gold, and not a single person other than the waitress looked at or spoke to us.
We lost that game in 2014 (gave it away) but enjoyed the return trip in 2016.

But, when I go I drive in and drive out. Don't stay in town either before or after the game.

We are staying just south of Tally to stay away from a crowded area but I fully expect to find a good time somewhere downtown! I know some tnetters on here have all the good spots! stop being so stingy lol

We are going to the clemson tailgate which is a mile away not sure if any tickets avaible still, but that is where we are going to be and they also provide a shuttle to the game before and after.
