Don't know what he's actually doing but what is SC's illustrious governor doing with this with our state's schools ?

Doesn't matter,Clemson vs Carolina and UGA vs Ga.Tech have been cancelled.
The SEC will not back down,or they will have the ACC to deal with.
Thing is the Governors probably have no say so in this matter.

Governors had no say in Virginia Tech getting into the ACC, but here they are anyway after the Virginia Governor insisted.

I am not an attorney. I don't think the governor has or should have the power to make the Chickens face up to another beat down. I guess the governor could call the legislature back into session and ask them to pass a law requiring the game to be played?? However, the optics with all the other garbage going on, wouldn't look too good. Any attorneys or state legislators out there, would it be legal to require an annual game be played between Clemson and U of SC? Since both schools receive state funds would that allow such a law to be valid?
