fastest I have ever seen...and that goes back a while....2nd, our ranking took a jump today, but I cannot help but think what our ranking would be, if we had the exact same recruits and our colors were Crimson and White or Red and Silver. I mean, I heard one of the guys on 247 say he thought Everette is the 2nd best corner in the country, and you can bet your houndstooth hat that if their QB recruit had beaten the #1 recruit HEAD to HEAD, not once, but twice....that he would be the best 5* QB in the country. We are currently 3rd in player average WITHOUT getting the boosts those other two schools recruits get....

I mean to be fair the recruiting rankings are based on a formula so if other teams had the same players that ranked the same as they do now then those teams would be right where we would be. Now if those players got a bump for committing to those other schools then yeah you are right. But I will say I have seen Clemson help recruits get bumps when we start recruiting because those services recognize our coaches ability to recognize talent. So we carry some clout now as well.
And as far as The QBs go they will always go off those measurables. Klubnik is by far the best gamer in the class. He’s a winner. But they only like to measure guys off how hard they throw, how tall they are and maybe mobility is another one. Now I don’t see how Stockton is still so high. Not the greatest arm strength, only 6’-1”, definitely mobile but I think Klubnik has shown he’s every bit as good if not better than him. Ewers just has that power arm and quick release. That’s what they like at these recruiting sites.
